Police are investigating after cash and valuables were stolen in two burglaries at addresses in Heysham.
The first one occurred at a property in the area some time between January 4 and 12.
Jewellery, cash and a safe were taken.
The other occurred on School Road on January 10, where cash, jewellery and watches were taken from a property.
Officers investigating the burglaries believe both were committed by the same offender, and both probably on the same day, January 10.
DI Adie Knowles from Lancaster CID told Beyond Radio: ‘’We think they both happened on the same day, by the same offender, as they are very similar in the method and the things stolen.
‘’If you see anything suspicious, people hanging around during the day, up and down driveways, looking like they’re up to no good, please tell us.’’
Any information can be passed on by calling 101, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
