Police have released an image of a cyclist on the Promenade as they continue to search for a missing man from Morecambe.
Carl Joy was last seen on Lord Street in Morecambe last Friday afternoon, August 23.
A police spokesperson said on Thursday: "As part of our continuing efforts to find missing Carl Joy we are releasing this image and asking for your help.
"While we appreciate the image is not of the best quality we do need to establish if it is an image of Carl and so we are asking that if you recognise this person – or if it is you – then you get in touch.
"The image (below) was taken on Marine Road heading away from area of Buzz Bingo towards the Clock Tower at 1.16pm on August 23rd.

"Carl has been missing from his home in Morecambe since Friday 23rd August and efforts are ongoing to find him
"The other images shown here are of Carl and his bike are from 31st July. We hope releasing these pictures will show his recent appearance and help the public in our efforts to find him.

"We believe the last known sighting of Carl was on Lord Street at around 1pm on Friday 23rd August. Since then, our officers have conducted a number of searches, spoken to neighbours and reviewed CCTV footage to try and locate Carl.
"We’d still like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from Friday afternoon onwards, that may have captured Carl so that we can narrow down a direction of travel. We’re particularly interested in footage from the Lord Street, Clark Street, Rose Street, Poulton Square, Poulton Road and Church Street areas of Morecambe.
"As a reminder, Carl is 5’10”, short shaven hair, with tattoos on both arms.

"Carl is likely to have his grey hybrid pedal cycle with him.
"Carl has links to Lancaster and Yorkshire, and we are also considering the possibility that he may have travelled to Cumbria.
"We’re asking anyone who believes they may have seen Carl or recognises the bike he is travelling on, to contact us as a matter of urgency."
For immediate sightings of Carl, please call 999.
If you have any information as to where he might be or for previous sightings, call 101 quoting log 1472 of 23rd August 2024.
