Lancaster police stopped more than 60 vehicles during a crackdown on drink driving on New Year's Eve.

A spokesperson for local police said they conducted 30 breath tests during the morning of December 31.

"We’re pleased to report no one was over the limit," said the spokesperson.

"It’s important to always be mindful the morning after drinking as you may still be over the limit, and if in doubt don’t drive."

Police forces across the country have been carrying out Operation Limit – a national campaign aimed at preventing drug and drink related casualties across the Christmas period.
