A power cut hit central Morecambe affecting 685 properties including a town centre pub.
The Pier Hotel on Marine Road Central announced on Monday evening that it was temporarily shut due to a power cut.
Electricity North West said the issue was reported to them at 5.50pm and they were on site on Monday evening.
Residents on Marine Road East also said on social media, that they had no power.
"Unfortunately due to a power cut on Marine Road we have had to close for the evening," said a spokesperson for The Pier Hotel.
"Hopefully power will be back on later tonight and we’ll be open as usual tomorrow."

UPDATE -
On Tuesday, a spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “Yesterday evening at 6:55pm, we received reports of a power cut in Morecambe caused by a fault at the local substation affecting 687 properties.
“Engineers attended site and carried out repair work which included the replacement of several fuses and power was restored to all properties at 8:46pm.”
