Residents have been invited to help clean up Morecambe on two community litter picks, the first of which is tomorrow (August 13).
The Morecambe Beach and Street Clean takes place from 1pm to 3pm, starting at the Eric Morecambe Statue.
This has been organised by the Local Community and Neighbourhood Watch Team. Refreshments and equipment provided, please bring your own gloves, and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

The Arndale, Morecambe Bay shopping centre is also organising a litter pick on Monday August 15 starting at 11am.
The shopping centre team has asked the public to nominate an area of Morecambe that's in need of a good clear-up.
