Police investigating a burglary in Bare say there have been several recent reports from Morecambe residents who have disturbed an unknown person at their homes.
PCSO Karl Smith, messaging residents on the police's 'Stay in the Know' service, said a property on Bare Lane had been targeted by a burglar at around 8.25pm on Friday.
He said a person was seen by the resident on their CCTV after the family dog had alerted them that someone was in their back garden.
"Over the last week there have also been several reports from residents in the area that an unknown person had been seen or disturbed on their property during hours of darkness," said PCSO Smith.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.26pm on Friday to an address in Bare Lane, Morecambe, to a report of burglary.
"A backpack was stolen from the property. Enquiries are ongoing.
