Music stars Sam Ryder, Tom Odell and Busted have been announced for this year’s Highest Point festival in Lancaster.
Cat Burns, the returning Gok Wan, fast-rising UK pop star Caity Baser, CBeebies favourite Hacker T Dog and Utah Saints will also appear at the popular music festival in Williamson Park.
Odell (Friday May 10) and Busted (Saturday May 11) will headline the event which will run over the weekend of May 10-12, with two days of live music on the Friday and Saturday, followed by the return of the Big Family Fun Day on the Sunday.

Sam Ryder, who will perform on the Friday, shot to fame through his cover versions of well-known songs which he posted on the Tik Tok social media platform during lockdown.
The popular performer then went on to represent the UK at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing the runner-up with his anthemic pop song 'Space Man'. The song reached number two in the UK singles chart and his debut album 'There's Nothing But Space, Man' topped the charts.
Ryder was also nominated for a Brit award and his show 'Sam Ryder Rocks New Year's Eve' aired on BBC1 on December 31 2022. Then his song 'You're Christmas To Me' achieved the number two position in the 2023 Christmas singles charts. He has begun work on his second studio album.
Busted are one of the biggest UK boy bands of all-time with a string of hit singles between 2002 and 2004 including ‘What I Go To School For’, ‘Year 3000’, ‘Crashed the Wedding’ and ‘Who’s David?’
After splitting to pursue solo careers, the band – Charlie Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis – reunited and will bring a ton of energy and singalong anthems to Lancaster.
Singer-songwriter Tom Odell has released six studio albums and won the Brit Award for Critics’ Choice. Odell has also won an Ivor Novello award for songwriter of the year.
His debut album ‘Long Way Down’ reached number one in the UK and he has also achieved Top 10 hits with singles ‘Another Love’ and ‘Real Love’, his Beatles cover known for its use on a John Lewis Christmas TV advert.
Cat Burns (pictured below) who will perform on the Friday, shot to prominence when her single ‘Go’ became a massive success on social media platform Tik Tok in 2020 and reached number two in the UK singles charts.
She has been nominated for Brit awards three times.
Over the weekend, festival-goers can see more than 100 artists across six stages as well as enjoying top-quality street food, craft beer and cocktails.
“We’re delighted to finally be able to reveal this year’s line-up, which is our most exciting and diverse ever," said Rich Dyer, organiser.
“There really is something for everyone and I know we’ll have a great party in the park”.
TV fashionista and DJ Gok Wan (pictured below), The Cuban Brothers and The Beatles Dub Club will also perform on the main stage.
Meanwhile, there will be DJ sets from the likes of 90s dance anthem legends Utah Saints, Sarah Story and The Cribs.
BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Chris Hawkins is curating the Skiddle Sundial stage.
Chris said: “Highest Point is one of the best and most fun festivals around, in a really fantastic setting.
“I love that I’ve been given the freedom to put together my own stage line-up. I can’t wait to get back to Lancaster!”
Elsewhere, Charlie Tee – host of BBC Radio 1’s Drum & Bass Show – presents the Unitee Stage, showcasing the best of the genre.
Local acts including Lowes (pictured below), George Lawson, and Gabriella T and Jasmine T, the Lovely Eggs (with their famous pub quiz) and DJs Matt Thiss and Summer J will also be part of the line-up.

Two-day tickets cost £135 per adult and are available via Skiddle. Day tickets are also available from £68.50 per adult.
Festival-goers can purchase a VIP upgrade for £40 per adult in order to watch the main stage from the steps of the iconic Ashton Memorial - as well as accessing the VIP bar and toilets.
Highest Point is family-friendly and children under five can attend for free. The festival is also fully accessible and carers' tickets are free.

There will be no Thursday event at Highest Point this year, as organisers focus their attention on the other two days.
Headliners at previous Highest Point festivals have included the Kaiser Chiefs, Richard Ashcroft, Sister Sledge, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, James and Anne-Marie.
