Morecambe will host Shrewsbury Town on the opening day of the Sky Bet League One campaign on July 30.
The fixtures for the Shrimps’ second season in the third tier have been released this morning, and show that Derek Adams’ men will welcome Salop to the Mazuma to kick off the campaign.
Other fixtures of note include over the Christmas period, where the Shrimps travel to Vale Park to take on last season’s League Two Play-Off Final winners Port Vale on Boxing Day, the last game of 2022 sees a home game against Lancashire rivals Accrington Stanley before kicking off the New Year with Burton Albion at home.
Easter fixtures will see the Shrimps host Plymouth Argyle on Good Friday before travelling down to Fratton Park on Easter Monday to take on Portsmouth.
Newly-promoted Exeter City will be the opposition on the final day of the campaign.
It's also been confirmed today that Morecambe will host Championship side, Stoke City, in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie will be played w/c August 8th.
Morecambe have also found out the final team in their group in the EFL Papa John's Trophy.
Everton U21s join the Shrimps, Harrogate Town and Hartlepool United.

Meanwhile, the Shrimps’ squad returns to pre-season training for the first time after their summer break today.
Derek Adams’ side will kick off their summer friendly schedule with a trip to Bower Fold to face Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday 5 July at 7.45pm.
The Shrimps will then travel to North West Counties Premier Division Champions Macclesfield FC, on Saturday 9 July at the Leasing.com Stadium, with the game kicking off at 3pm.
On Tuesday 12 July, they take on Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Finalists Huddersfield Town in a behind closed doors friendly at their Canalside Training Ground, with that fixture getting underway at 2pm.
They’re on the road again at Deva Stadium to take on National League North side Chester FC on Saturday 16 July with a 3pm kick-off.
Championship side Middlesbrough visit the Mazuma Stadium on Tuesday 19 July, with our fixture against Chris Wilder's men getting underway at 7pm.
Adams’ side round off their pre-season schedule back on home soil, as we welcome Carlisle United on Saturday 23 July, before kicking off our League One campaign a week later.
