A six-year-old Lancaster boy bumped into a fundraising legend in an unlikely setting - as they both scaled the highest mountain in Wales on separate charity challenges.
Oscar Burrow was delighted to meet Speedomick as they both successfully climbed Snowdon over the weekend.
Oscar, who is aiming to climb 12 mountains in the UK at a total height of 8,849 metres, the same as Mount Everest, decided to race the swimming trunks-wearing icon up to the top of the 1,085m high Welsh peak.
And he did it, beating Mick by 30 minutes before meeting him for a photo on the way back down from the summit of Snowdon.
Little Oscar, who is raising money for Derian House children's hospice, also met Speedomick the week before, when the fundraiser visited the Lancaster and Morecambe area during his current epic walk from John O'Groats to Lands End.
Oscar joined him on his 'stomp' through Bilsborrow and told Mick about his own fundraising challenge, and that he'd be climbing Snowdon too!

Oscar has had huge media attention since embarking on his challenge, including appearances on BBC, ITV and Channel 5 News, as well as Beyond Radio! Here he is with mum Kim and grandad Mark in the Beyond Radio studio.
The next mountain for Oscar is Glyder Fawr (fifth highest in Wales) on March 24.
He tried to take on Glyder Fawr while he was in Wales a few days ago, but had to turn back due to bad weather.
Then Oscar will tackle Scafell Pike (highest in England), Cairn Gorm (sixth highest in Scotland), Bauchaille Etive Mor/Stob Dearg and finally Ben Nevis (highest in Scotland).
Intrepid Oscar originally wanted to take on Everest itself but dad Matt came up with this alternative plan, to help raise money for Lancashire children's hospice Derian House.
He is being accompanied by his dad, his mum Kim, 37, grandad Mark, 67, and sometimes his little sister Ada, 3, and at the weekend was joined by his friend Oliver Perkins and his family.
Oscar was originally aiming to raise £8,849, the same number as the height of Everest in metres, but had shattered this target at time of writing, raising more than £11,000.
So now the family have adjusted the target and are aiming to raise £29,000, the height of Everest in feet.

Meanwhile Speedomick, real name Michael Cullen, is in the midst of his epic final charity walk from John O'Groats to Land's End.
En route he is scaling the UK's highest peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
He is raising money for the SpeedoMick Foundation which aims to provide support for young people through education, relieving poverty, or the support of mental and physical health.
