A social media campaign will give residents an insight into the work of Lancaster CID in the coming months.
It will be spearheaded by Det Sgt Adie Knowles, was a Neighbourhood Police Sergeant in Morecambe for a number of years, and now works within CID across the Lancaster and Morecambe districts.
Adie says: ‘’We’re very good in letting people know what the guys in uniform get up to, but not many would know what a typical day is like for someone working in CID.
‘’Over the next few months, I’ll be giving people an insight into what it’s like being a detective.
‘’Hopefully you’ll find it interesting and I’ll at least try to inject a bit of humour into it too!
‘’Please look out for our posts and hopefully you can enjoy finding out a little bit more about what we get up to.’’
