Teenage boy denies attempted murder after 13-year-old stabbed in Carnforth

A teenage boy has denied attempted murder after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in Carnforth.

The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted GBH with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He appeared at Preston Crown Court on Monday.

A provisional trial date has been set for November 14.

Police were called to the junction of the A6 Lancaster Road and Market Street in Carnforth on the evening of Saturday June 3.

A 13 year-old boy had been stabbed and was airlifted to hospital.
