A teenager has been charged after a series of burglaries in Bare.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged after a series of incidents during the night of September 6-7.
A Mini Clubman car was stolen from an address on Mayfield Drive at around 12.25am on Sunday September 6.
Police officers later spotted the car on Dallam Avenue and gave chase.
Two arrests were made.
One of the 17-year-olds was charged with three attempted burglaries, on Mayfield Drive, Stuart Avenue and Elms Drive.
He was also charged with burglaries where vehicles were taken, on Lawnswood Drive and Mayfield Drive, dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence, and driving without insurance.
He was due to appear in court on September 16.
The other teenager was released on bail.
