Thousands partied on Morecambe Promenade to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on an historic day for the town.
Tables lined the prom from Frontierland to the town hall over a distance of just over 1.5 miles (2.5km) as revellers enjoyed an outdoor lunch to remember on Sunday afternoon.
There have been reports that the event broke the record for the longest ever Jubilee street party in the UK.
Organisers Morecambe Town Council said that all 500 tables were sold and they estimated that more than 5,000 people had taken part, with thousands more packing onto the seafront to watch.
Additional tables had been added to meet the high demand. Spaces at the street party had been on sale for £10.
There was also huge interest in the event from the national media.
Morecambe featured prominently on BBC, ITV and Sky news reports of Sunday's Jubilee festivities across the UK, and in several national newspapers.
Popular BBC TV presenter Gethin Jones was among the media representatives on the prom on Sunday afternoon. His report from Morecambe aired on the Morning Live show on BBC1 on Monday morning.
There was a lot of excitement on the Promenade as families and friends got together, many decked out in red, white and blue.
They brought their own food and drink, and some even brought gazebos to cover their tables in case of rain!
But although there were a few spots of rain during the afternoon, the weather mainly stayed dry.
There were sections of empty tables during the three-hour event and it is believed some people who bought spaces at the street party did not turn up.
But they were in the minority as most of the tables set out along the prom were full of people enjoying the experience.

Attendees also included David Morris, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale, Caroline Jackson, leader of Lancaster City Council, Councillor Joyce Pritchard, mayor of Lancaster, and Cary Matthews, chairman of Morecambe Town Council.
"I'm amazed and so happy that we've brought the community together like this and that we're celebrating the Queen together," said Councillor Matthews.
"Morecambe is on the map and we've got bigger and better things to come.
"I think we're going to break (the record) this time. I believe there is somebody here (to adjudicate the record) but I've not met them.
"I think this is just a taster for what Morecambe is going to be like in the coming years."

The event included a performance by local samba drumming band Samba Espirito, who performed over the entire length of the street party, and a toast to the Queen followed by the firing of red, white and blue smoke cannons across the seafront.
Lord Shuttleworth, the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, also cut a special Jubilee cake.
One of many Big Jubilee Lunches held across the UK to mark the Queen's 70-year reign, the street party was supported by the Eden Project, Lancaster City Council and EDF.
The Big Lunch is an idea from the Eden Project, made possible by The National Lottery.
A spokesperson for Eden said their involvement in the Morecambe Big Lunch was the latest show of commitment to the town following the planned Eden Project North being granted planning permission by Lancaster City Council in January (2022).
Sales of tickets to the event raised funds for the local Cancer Care charity and Ukrainian refugees.
The town’s Jubilee celebrations began on Thursday (June 2) with Morecambe’s Beacon Lighting Ceremony on the Stone Jetty. The event featured live music, pyrotechnics, fireworks, food stalls, and a DJ.
Tim Narey, Project Director for Eden Project North, said: “It has been absolutely incredible to see so many people coming together for today’s magnificent event and the effort everyone has put in has been extraordinary. The weather has been kind to us and to see the Promenade come to life with food, entertainment and music has been a real delight.
“The spirit of the Big Lunch has been on full display here today and we hope everyone who has participated in this fantastic event to honour Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has had a memorable day.”
It is believed the record for the longest Jubilee street party in the UK was previously set in Devon, at 1.5 miles.
The world record for the longest street party is believed to have been set in Germany in 2010, at 37 miles!
Beyond Radio has contacted Guinness World Records for confirmation on whether Sunday's event in Morecambe has set a new official record for the longest Jubilee street party in the UK.
