Two teenagers have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Morecambe in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The two 17-year-old males were arrested on Tuesday after a 26-year-old man was stabbed under the arm on Heysham Road.
The victim was airlifted to hospital following the incident at around 3.40pm on Monday, October 3.
Det Sgt Adie Knowles, speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat segment on Beyond Radio on Tuesday night, said his injuries were not life-threatening and he was stable.
"As it stands we don't think there is any further wider risk to the public and we think it's a targeted attack on that victim," said Det Sgt Knowles.
"You will see a bit more of a police presence in that area in response to what's gone on."
Police enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting log 0871 of October 3, or call anonymously on 0800 555111 or email Det Sgt Knowles at 6966@lancashire.police.uk
