World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has cut the ribbon to open a new restaurant in Lancaster.
The WBC Heavyweight Champion performed the grand opening of the new Sultan of Lancaster Experience on Caton Road.
In a speech, Tyson joked for everyone to vote for him as the new UK Prime Minister!
Morecambe-based Fury was joined by his friend Shaun Gash from the Lancaster Bulldogs wheelchair basketball team.
The 6 ft 9 in fighter took a pair of scissors from Shaun and pretended to use them as a microphone as he gave a speech to mark the opening.
"Here we are at this grand opening of the Sultan Experience restaurant here on Caton Road," said Tyson.
"I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who turned up today, all my friends and supporters and family, this one's for you.
"Don't forget to vote for me in 2030 to be the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Thank you very much. Vote Fury.
"It's now officially open to everybody. Welcome."
The Sultan Experience has an outlet at Lancaster University where Fury is a regular customer.
He is seen here pictured in 2020 at the university takeaway alongside his father John Fury, brother Tommy Fury and trainer SugarHill Steward. Photo from the Sultan Experience Facebook page.
