Cast members of Morecambe-based television drama The Bay have praised the town in a new ITV trailer video released ahead of the new series.
Series 5 of the show will begin this Sunday, March 2 at 9pm on ITV1.
Further episodes will air on Monday and Tuesday, with the concluding parts to be shown the following week - all available on the streaming service ITVX.
Once again, the series centres around the fictional team at Morecambe Police, with lead character DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason) as its family liaison officer.
Dan Ryan will return as DI Tony Manning, Erin Shanagher will again star as DS Karen Hobson and Andrew Dowbiggin as DS James Clarke.
ITV Studios have released a moving video trailer ahead of the new series, where cast members - and Lancaster-based series writer Daragh Carville - share their thoughts on why Morecambe is the perfect setting for the show.
"Morecambe is so picturesque," said Marsha.
"It's just breathtaking. It's just really gorgeous to look at.
"I know we say it every year but (Morecambe) is it's own character, and it adds to the drama."

Andrew Dowbiggin praised "the scenery, the people, the landscape, the history that's there"
"Morecambe itself its integral, it's instrinsic to the whole story," he said.
Dan Ryan noted the plot of The Bay that contrasts this with "families in the deepest of despair, set against this extraordinary beauty, there's a kind of melancholy that we wouldn't get anywhere else".

"Morecambe deserves some love and it's certainly given something to the show," said Dan.
The plot of the new series will centre around 23-year-old university student Hannah, who is found dead on the edge of docks, giving Morecambe's crime investigation team another case to solve.
Jenn Townsend, who is returning to work following the death of her father, pushes aside her own grief to support Hannah’s bitterly divided family.
Since the first series aired in 2019, the police drama has grown in popularity with millions of TV viewers getting to see the town on screen.
