A new laser tag attraction will open inside an iconic former shop on Morecambe Prom later this month.
Laser Rush will be housed inside the former B&M Bargains/Woolworths store on Marine Road Central and is set to open on February 10.
The attraction is the latest venture opened by Jet Ltd, who also run the nearby Jump Rush trampoline centre, Soul Bowl bowling alley, Vista restaurant, Pleasureland amusement arcade and Johnny’s Warehouse Bar.
Laser tag is a recreational shooting sport where participants use infrared-emitting light guns to tag designated targets.
The attraction will be the first of its kind in Morecambe since the Megazone laser tag centre on Marine Road West shut down after a fire in 2014.
Laser Rush will feature two battle zone grounds (Destination Apocalypse and Battle Barracks). It will open initially with one zone, with the second zone to follow later in February.
Here is a sneak peek at the new Laser Rush in Morecambe.
A laser tag game was part of Jet Ltd's 'Johnny's Fear Factory' scare park in the former B&M and Hitchen's buildings which was open during the Halloween period in 2023.

At that time, Sol Reader, director of Jet Ltd, said he intended to keep the laser tag equipment to set up a more permanent attraction in the town.

Mr Reader said: “The way we have set up the zones means you can have quite a serious battle in there, so it is definitely for adults as well as kids!
"Plus we have the optional add-on of Electrotag, which gives a small electric shock every time you get hit!"
Jet Ltd said that Laser Rush has been "built with a range of ages in mind, with the site set up for hosting parties and groups of all kinds, with a range of rooms and food options".
"The team has been hard at work building the battle set-ups, which feature really cool hiding places, mazes and scenery," said Caroline Walker, area manager of Jet Ltd.
"The guns are the latest in laser technology and have some really awesome games such as Defend the Keep, Team Deathmatch and Domination."
