Morecambe professional boxer Reece MacMillan is gearing up for the biggest fight of his career to date.
Reece will challenge for the Central Area Lightweight Title against the unbeaten champion Jimmy First (12-0) at Oldham Leisure Centre on Saturday July 16.
MacMillan, who has a professional record of 15 wins from 16 bouts and has won his last 11 fights in a row, has been training for the title fight at Coastal Boxing Club in Morecambe.
First is the oldest ever Central Area champion, having won the title aged 40.
Beyond Radio caught up with Reece and his trainer Bob Howard after a training session in Morecambe.
"I'm working hard, this is an opportunity we've been waiting for, for a while, everything is coming together and I'm ready to go," said Reece.
