Dozens of schools across the Lancaster district are facing disruption as teachers join national strike action on Wednesday.
A number of schools are closed for the day, and others only open to certain year groups.
Picket lines are also being set up outside a number of schools between 7am and 9:15am.
Hundreds of staff across Lancaster and Morecambe will be taking part in the strike, after the National Education Union (NEU) held a ballot for industrial action.
More than 90% of members who took part opted to vote to walk out.
The union are asking for an above inflation pay rise, with many teachers also voicing concerns about under-funding at schools.
There will be a protest in Lancaster on Wednesday (February 1) in Dalton Square, before they head to Market Square for a rally in the afternoon, where they will join University and department of work and pensions staff in a joint action.
The following are among the schools are closed locally.
