A woman was rescued after becoming stuck in mud off Morecambe Promenade in one of three call-outs in a day for the town's lifeboat crew.
Rescue services were called to the Promenade close to Princes Crescent, Bare, at around 12.50pm on Tuesday.
Coastguard rescue teams were sent from Knott End, Morecambe and Arnside, as well as the RNLI's Morecambe hovercraft and Bay Search and Rescue.
The Coastguard Rescue Officers recovered the woman to dry land using the Knott End all-terrain vehicle. She was handed safe and well into the care of the North West Ambulance Service.
Then at 5.20pm another call was received with reports of a person cut off by the incoming tide near to The Mayfield residential home on Morecambe Promenade.
The inshore rescue lifeboat conducted a search of the area. They concluded that it was a mooring buoy on a sandbank that had been spotted by the caller.
Whilst out in the second call of the day, a third call came in to the lifeboat crew.
This was to reports of a person cut off near to Ocean Edge caravan park at Heysham.
The crew members made their way to the scene when they received information that the person had made their way to the safety of the shore.
"We would like to remind everyone that if you suspect anyone to be in danger within Morecambe Bay, please call 999 and ask for the coastguard," said a spokesperson for Morecambe RNLI.
