Work is under way on a new Tesco Express in a residential area of Morecambe.
The supermarket will open in the former Co-Op building on the Westgate shopping precinct in April.
Scaffolding and fencing is up around the Glentworth Road West premises as the work takes place.
The Co-Op store closed recently after the company sold the building to Tesco.
The Westgate premises has been a supermarket, under different guises, for many decades.
A Tesco Express spokesperson said: "We are really excited to open a new Tesco Express in the Westgate shopping precinct in Morecambe. This new store will open in April and we are looking forward to serving the local community.”
Here is the building pictured this week as work takes place.
