Two GPs and a paramedic will take part in 12 hours of non-stop open-air exercise to raise money for good causes.
Dr Gemma Barrow, Dr Joanne Price and Scott Murray from Bay Medical Group will be doing a 12-hour 'Moveathon' in the West End Gardens in Morecambe on Saturday May 13.
The money they raise will be split between More Music, Stanleys Community Centre and West End Impact.
Dr Barrow is the Bay Integrated Care Community GP clinical Lead and GP partner at Bay Medical Group, Dr Price is the Primary Care Network (PCN) clinical director and GP partner at Bay Medical Group, and Scott Murray is clinical development lead for the PCN additional roles and an advanced paramedic.
As part of the Moveathon Gemma, Jo and Scott will be taking part in the Morecambe Park Run on the Promenade from 9am and the 'Walk with a Doctor' event which starts outside the Beach Cafe at 11am.
They will continue to keep moving for the full 12 hours with equipment and regular walks on the prom.
