The body of a man in his 20s has been found in a Lancaster park.
Police cordoned off an area of Williamson Park after they were called at 7.55am on Friday (June 19), to a report that a man had been found unresponsive.
A police spokesperson said: “The emergency services attended and very sadly, the man in his 20s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Our thoughts are very much with his family and loved ones at this distressing time.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared in due course for HM Coroner.”
