The biggest ever Armed Forces weekend in Morecambe was a massive success and will return in 2027.
The expanded three-day event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday pulled massive crowds to Morecambe Promenade for a celebration of the Forces community and blue light services.
The weather was glorious as throngs of people watched displays from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - with the Dakota flying over on Saturday and the Hurricane making an appearance on Sunday.
There was also a military parade as thousands lined the Promenade to honour serving personnel, veterans and cadets on Saturday morning, a biker parade, a drumhead service and re-enactment firing displays outside the Platform.

A drone display above the Stone Jetty on Friday evening was also a huge crowd-puller.
A large number of Forces organisations, blue light and rescue services, and local charities were represented with stalls and activities throughout the weekend; while live music and entertainment came from Samba Espirito, The Blondies, Morecambe Band, Accrington Pipe Band and the Morecambe 20th Century Revival who provided music through the decades in the Platform.
Other popular attractions included Spot the Robot Dog and a Red Arrows simulator, and the Beyond Radio team - with Beyond Bear - were also on hand to provide music and announcements.

A planned parachute display by the Army Red Devils on Saturday morning did have to be cancelled due to high level clouds causing disruption, said organisers, who apologised for any disappointment.
The committee has announced that the weekend will be back in 2027 with "significantly more going on".
"We learned lots of lessons this year and will improve year on year," said the organising committee, with a post on the Armed Forces Weekend Facebook page.
Referring to the plans to start work on the Eden Project Morecambe on the central Promenade this summer, they said: "The Eden Project have given us their full support this year and we will simply move the event left or right down the Promenade.
"What an incredible weekend for the Lancaster & Morecambe District Armed Forces Day 26 - a huge success and a true celebration of our Armed Forces community.
"A massive thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, performed, and helped make the event such a memorable occasion.
"And this is only the beginning…
"The future is looking even bigger, bolder and better for 2027."
