Limited tickets remain to see the first episode of the new series of TV drama The Bay at a special screening in Morecambe.
Organisers announced on Wednesday that there were 20 tickets left to see the premiere of the episode at Reel Cinema this Friday (November 8).
The screening at 8pm, part of the first ever Morecambe Film and TV Festival, will be followed by a Q&A with actor Dan Ryan, who plays DI Manning, and writer Daragh Carville from Lancaster.
Filming began on the fifth series of Morecambe-based crime drama in 2023 and its screening date on ITV1 is yet to be announced.
In the new series, Marsha Thomason will return as Morecambe MIU’s Family Liaison Officer, DS Jenn Townsend, alongside cast regulars Daniel Ryan (pictured below), Erin Shanagher and Andrew Dowbiggin.

Olwen May (Happy Valley, Trying) will join the team in Morecambe. Barry Sloane returns as Chris Fischer. Georgia Scholes plays Chris’s daughter Erin, and David Carpenter and Emme Hayes return as Conor and Maddie, Jenn’s children. Suzanne Packer (Casualty, Keeping Faith) joins as Jenn’s mum, Anne Townsend.
Tickets are available from the Reel Cinema website HERE.
The Morecambe Film and TV Festival also includes visits to Morecambe by actor and comedian Johnny Vegas, and The Comic Strip Presents star Peter Richardson.
Vegas, star of 'Benidorm', 'Still Open All Hours' and numerous comedy panel game shows will be part of 'An Ideal Night Out' - appropriately at Johnny's Warehouse Bar on November 14.

Johnny will be talking about his sitcom 'Ideal' alongside writer Graham Duff and producer Gill Isles.
Tickets cost £10/£15, available from ticketing outlet Skiddle.
On Friday November 15, Richardson will take questions at a screening of the classic '80s alternative comedy series which starred The Young Ones legends Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson and Nigel Planer (pictured below with Richardson in the spoof band 'Bad News'.) This will be held at Reel Cinema from 7pm.
