The Winter Gardens will open to the public for a new season of weekend tours where people can find out about the latest plans for the theatre.
The historic venue will reopen on Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13 and on all subsequent weeks subject to events taking place.
Heritage tours of the Grade II* listed building on Marine Road Central are now available to book online.
People attending can see the work that is being done and hear about the ongoing restoration of the theatre.
Last month, the Morecambe Winter Gardens was given the go ahead to carry out plans to increase its audience capacity from 970 to 1600.
This is the next stage of a comprehensive plan to repair and fully use the theatre, which closed in 1977.
The planning application was to demolish a former substation, build a part two/part three storey side extension, install a replacement window, doors and stage door at the back of the theatre, refurbish floors, ceilings, the Circle seating area and bar area, install a lift, and electrical and fire alarm systems.
A programme of events and concerts has also been announced at the Winter Gardens in 2025.
Although the theatre closed as a full-time venue in 1977, it has opened for several years for events to help raise its profile and fund ongoing restoration work.
Bookings for tours can be taken in person when the Winter Gardens is open or at the new box office.
You can buy online HERE. Booking recommended as slots are limited.
