A new box office has opened at Morecambe Winter Gardens for its events and concerts this year.
The box office, inside one of the theatre's shop units, will be open on Fridays and Saturdays for people who like to buy tickets in person, said Terry Allum, events co-ordinator at the Winter Gardens.
This comes as a programme of events and concerts was announced at the Winter Gardens for 2025.
Although the theatre closed as a full-time venue in 1977, it has opened for several years for events to help raise its profile and fund ongoing restoration work.
Terry, who formerly managed The Platform arts venue in Morecambe, became events co-ordinator at the theatre in 2024.

"The box office means we can print tickets, a lot of people still want to do that rather than (buy them) online," said Terry.
"We will be selling some merchandise and we will have a bit of tourist information as well."
The next event at the Winter Gardens is a concert by Tom Hingley, front man of 90s indie band the Inspiral Carpets, this Saturday (March 22) starting at 7.30pm. Tickets £25. Support comes from local band The Limes.
Other confirmed events at the Winter Gardens this year are:
The Word is Terry Christian (below), Saturday April 19 at 7.30pm, tickets £25.

Cinema Experience with screenings of Brief Encounter and The Entertainer, Saturday May 10, 4pm and 7pm, tickets £12.50 or £20 for both
Cowbridge Male Voice Choir, Friday May 23, 7pm, tickets £12.50
Solstice Festival, Friday June 20
Lichfield Concert Band, Saturday July 5, tickets £12.50
Other events will include Northern Silents, Morecambe Poetry Festival, Morecambe Music Festival, Bubble Magic, Eddi Reader and a Halloween weekend.
Earlier this week, the Winter Gardens was given the go-ahead for its plans to increase its audience capacity from 970 to 1600.
Planned building work includes a new extension, opening up the Circle seating area to audiences, a new platform lift and toilets.
"The events will be happening this year alongside the building project that's happening, so we're on a slightly reduced capacity now until the building work is completed," said Terry.
"But we don't want to stop doing events. We're going to try to build some audiences around the town and get the Winter Gardens back on the map for regular events in Morecambe."

Tickets can also be bought online via TicketSource and from the Winter Gardens website.
