A new manager has taken charge at a 16th century pub in Heysham village.
Will Kitchen has taken the reins at The Royal having previously been the assistant manager at the pub, and also worked at venues including The Ship at Overton and the Slyne Lodge.
Mr Kitchen, who is from Heysham, has taken over from the previous general manager Alasdair Clark.
The Royal on Main Street in the village is owned by Daniel Thwaites.
"I am so proud to have the privilege of running such an incredible property," said Mr Kitchen, in a post on the Royal's Facebook page.
"You may have seen myself (and Arlo) around our stunning hometown of Heysham, or visited me at my previous sites within Daniel Thwaites or our local area.
"My goal is to now provide an establishment which is the hub of our local community and surrounding areas, plus a trip to remember for all our guests visiting the amazing place that is Heysham.
"I look forward to meeting everyone over the festive period & hope you all can come down and enjoy the new ideas and events my team and I have coming your way!"
Mr Clark, the outgoing general manager who'd been in charge at the Royal for five years, said: "I wish Will and the team the best of luck and a very merry Christmas."

This weekend (December 7 and 8) the Royal will be hosting the Heysham Village Christmas Market, from noon to 5pm both days.
There will be artisan stall holders, Santa and his elves, meet the Alpacas on Saturday, meet Thwaites Shire Horses and Santa on his sleigh on Sunday, Morecambe Ukulele Players (Saturday) and St John's Hospice choir (Sunday). Admission £1 for adults.
