A new shop selling retro video games as well as vinyls, CDs and DVDs has opened in Morecambe.
Retro Dreams has opened its doors at 83 Euston Road in the town centre.
The shop describes itself as a 'retro gamers paradise' and stocks video games for the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad, Vic 20 and Atari 2600 as well as all the popular consoles from Sony, Sega, Nintendo and Microsoft Xbox.
"Once complete we will be selling video games, consoles and computers, vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, musical instruments, even VHS videos," said a post on the group Facebook page.
"But we hope to create a community where people can come, have a coffee and maybe a cake and chat.
"Eventually we hope to have a proper original 80s jukebox loaded with CDs on Freeplay and mame arcade machine (currently being refurbished) also on freeplay.
"High score competitions will be encouraged.
"We operate on a shoestring and 80 per cent (ish) of our shelving, counters etc is upcycled using stuff we have found."
The premises near the corner of Central Drive was previously home to The Vault alternative small business collective which has moved to Victoria Street.
