A TV actress and model has offered a reward after her mobile phone was stolen in a Carnforth supermarket.
Jennifer Ellison, best-known for appearing in Channel 4 soap Brookside, has offered a £500 reward for the safe return of her phone after a woman stole it from Booths in the Lancashire town.
Posting on her Instagram Story, Miss Ellison said: "My phone has just been stolen by a lady in Booths Carnforth.
"She placed it into her bag after leaving the toilet.
"It has very sentimental pictures of my family in.
"I'm offering £500 reward if it is handed in. Any info please contact me on here."
The actress (pictured below in a photo shared on her Instagram @jenniferellisonjellistudios) is believed to have been staying locally.

Lancashire Police said that a theft of a mobile phone from Booths on Scotland Road in Carnforth had been reported to them yesterday (September 1), saying the theft is believed to have happened at around 6pm.

The mum-of-three founded the Liverpool dance school Jelli Studios to provide dance and musical theatre training in the performing arts, as seen on the TV show Dance Mums.
She will be starring in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins on Channel 4, starting on Sunday September 4.
