Two people were arrested after a car was stopped on the M6 motorway near Lancaster.
The southbound carriageway between Junction 33 (south Lancaster) and Junction 32 was closed for a short time at around 10pm on Sunday while police carried out a search.
A man aged 27 from Manchester and a woman aged 30 from Salford were arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.
