A new pasta bar promising 'incredible dishes with stunning sea views' is opening up in the West End of Morecambe.
Pimp Your Pasta - run by Lee Wallett from The Boardwalk pub and chef John McClean - had a soft opening on Monday to great acclaim.
The new pasta bar is located in a long-time closed food kiosk in a former amusement arcade building on Marine Road West - next door to The Boardwalk.
Renovation work is taking place this week ahead of a full opening soon.
The new pasta kiosk will sell pasta dishes, burgers, hot dogs, chips and healthy options to takeaway.
"Something exciting is cooking on the seafront," said a post on the new Pimp Your Pasta Facebook page this week.
"Introducing Pimp Your Pasta - your new go-to spot for freshly made, flavour-packed pasta dishes, cooked exactly how you like them.
"From classic comfort bowls to bold, custom creations, we’re bringing a whole new pasta experience to the coast — with delicious vegan options too.
"Get ready for fresh food, great vibes, and unbeatable sea views.
"We’re almost ready… are you?"
The team at the nearby Salty Bean Coffee House posted:
"Big love and massive congratulations to John & Lee over at Pimp Your Pasta.
"Tucked away just below The Boardwalk in Morecambe, these guys are absolutely smashing it – serving up proper comfort food, great drinks, and pasta that genuinely hits the spot every single time.
"We popped down (purely for 'research' obviously…) and WOW.
"It’s always class to see local businesses doing their thing and doing it well – and these two are absolutely flying after their soft opening yesterday."
