Carnforth Town Council have issued an urgent safety warning after debris was spotted falling from a building in the town centre.
The site is a former takeaway on New Street.
A spokesman for Carnforth Town Council said: “There is falling debris from the building at 5–7 New Street.
“Residents and pedestrians are strongly advised to avoid the area and do not walk or stand near the frontage of the building.
“This issue has been reported immediately to the relevant authorities, who are being asked to take urgent action.
“Please take extra care and share this message with others who may be affected.”
