Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A6.
Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and a campervan at around 1.45pm on Wednesday.
The A6 was closed in both directions between Longfield Drive at Carnforth and Hawthorn Road at Bolton-le-Sands following the incident.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four fire engines from Bolton le Sands, Carnforth, Lancaster and Preston attended a road traffic collision on Main Road, Bolton le Sands.
"Firefighters used hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment to extricate two casualties before handing them into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
"Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty five minutes."
Police have asked anyone who has any information about the incident to call 101 quoting log 0704 of August 14.
