One hundred 'Eric Morecambes' will do the comic's famous dance as part of a special event to celebrate his centenary year - and a Beyond Radio presenter is one of them!
Phil McGrath will take part in the 'Eric on the Bay' performance art and photography event later today (Tuesday July 14) on Morecambe Promenade.
From creative team Anthony Haddon and Rich Berry, Eric On The Bay is inspired by Antony Gormley’s Another Place sculpture installation on Crosby beach.
People were asked to volunteer to get involved as one of the many Erics who will do the skip made famous by the Morecambe-born TV comedian and his partner Ernie Wise, on Morecambe South Beach.
Morecambe Town Council said it will create "a joyful and unforgettable piece of imagery celebrating Morecambe’s most famous son".
'Eric on the Bay' takes place at 5.30pm on the beach by the Midland Hotel.
This year marks the centenary of Eric Morecambe's birth and several events have been taking place in the town to mark the occasion.
Morecambe and Wise

The town came out in force on the actual day of Eric's 100th birthday - May 14 - to show how much the Morecambe and Wise star is still loved 42 years after his death.
A series of events on that day included the official unveiling of a Morecambe and Wise mural, school children singing the famous 'Bring Me Sunshine' song by the Eric Morecambe Statue, Eric-themed exhibitions and a special live broadcast by Beyond Radio.
Phil McGrath presents The Quick Draw Radio Show on Beyond Radio on Wednesdays at 7pm.
Look out for more on Phil taking part in 'Eric On The Bay' on Beyond Radio social media.
