Legendary 90s hitmakers D:Ream will perform a special show at The Platform as part of Morecambe Pride.
The band famed for their 1994 number one smash 'Things Can Only Get Better' will be at the seafront venue on Saturday July 27, the same day as the Pride event.
Fronted by Peter Cunnah, the band had eight more Top 40 hits including 'U R the Best Thing' and 'Shoot Me With Your Love'. Their two 1990s studio albums reached the UK top five and the TV astronomer Professor Brian Cox was famously a former member of the band.
The gig starts at 6.45pm, doors 6pm.
The show is for over 14s and is standing only, with tickets priced £20.

Morecambe’s fifth annual Pride will see the traditional parade along the Promenade, starting at the Battery at 11am, before the celebration moves inside The Platform for an afternoon of free entertainment, where the lineup includes Archie, Cheryl and Alex, Ross Alexander’s Blitz Kidz, Sign Out Loud, Channy, Smashby, Ashley Paul, and Bianca Kinane.
A selection of stalls and information stands offering resources, advice and refreshments will also be present.
It was recently announced that Pride organisers, the Morecambe-based charity LGBT Out In The Bay, had been awarded a grant of £8,000 in support of this year’s Morecambe Pride.
Robert Mee, founder of LGBT Out in the Bay and organiser of Morecambe Pride, said: "We're incredibly grateful to Morecambe Town Council for their generous contribution, which allows us to make Morecambe Pride the best event it can be. The funding we've been awarded is pivotal for the success of the Pride event, allowing us to hire our venue and bring in high-quality acts, so we're excited to share our work with you all later this year."
