Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a knifepoint robbery in Lancaster.
Lancaster Area Police have only just released details of the incident, which they say happened back on Tuesday, October 21 at around midday.
It was reported that two men wearing dark clothes and balaclavas approached a man in the alleyway next to TK Maxx in Lancaster city centre, the part that links Market Street to Church Street, pushing him against a doorway, while one of the men held a knife to his neck, demanding his phone and money.
The man in possession of the knife is described as having the letters MKUZ tattooed on his hand.
It was then reported that the victim managed to leave the alleyway via the Market Square side, and the two men left the alley the opposite way, leading to Church Street, on an electric bike ridden by a third man, also wearing dark clothes and a balaclava.
A police spokesperson said: ‘’We appreciate this happened some time ago, and whilst we have been making enquiries since that date, we are now in a position to ask for your help.
‘’If you have any information that could help us identify these men, or witnessed this incident, please call 101 quoting log 609 of 21st October 2025.’’
