An annual event celebrating Bare village is set to return and Beyond Radio will be there!
Barefest takes place in and around Princes Crescent on Saturday June 13.
There will be live music, entertainment and family activities in the village in a summer carnival-style event.
Key highlights are the inauguration of a ‘Lord Mayor of Bare’, a historic tradition dating back to 1910, and a parade through the village.
Beyond Radio will provide music and announcements on the day.

Barefest is one of three events organised by the voluntary committee of Bare Community Association, to be supported by a £3000 grant from Morecambe Town Council.
The others are Bare Remembers and Christmas on the Crescent.
Bare Remembers (November 8) provides an opportunity for residents of all backgrounds to come together in a secular Remembrance service.
Christmas on the Crescent (November 28) rounds off the year with festive activities supporting local independent traders, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the village complete with a free Santa’s grotto for children.
"These events are all about community," said Marisa Seddon, chairperson of Bare Community Association.
"They give people the opportunity to come together, support local businesses and celebrate Bare’s unique character.
"We are grateful for the continued support which helps us keep these popular events running, and to the volunteers who dedicate so much time to making them happen.”
Councillor Lee Bradbury, chairperson of Morecambe’s Festivals, Sponsorships and Events Committee, said: “This funding recognises the importance of locally-led events in building identity across Morecambe’s neighbourhoods and encouraging shared pride in place.
"These events play an important role in bringing people together, strengthening Bare’s identity as a vibrant and welcoming village community within Morecambe, and highlighting what makes Bare such a special place to live and visit."
