A bus was damaged in a lunchtime road collision in central Morecambe.
The 1A bus to Lancaster University was in a minor collision with a van at around 12.50pm today (Tuesday).
The bus, which had several passengers on board, pulled up and stopped for several minutes following the incident on the junction of Euston Road and Thornton Road, at the bottom of York Bridge.
There was minor damage to the front of the bus and nobody was hurt.
It then continued on its route before stopping in Torrisholme where passengers were asked to transfer to the next bus heading to Lancaster, as the bus was being taken out of service.
Bus operators Stagecoach apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
