A national retail chain will be closing its store inside Morecambe's Arndale Centre.
Shoe Zone, which has around 380 stores across the UK, will shut its shop in the Arndale early next year.
There are 'closing down' signs in the window of the footwear retailer in Morecambe and a source close to Shoe Zone told us it will close in January.
We contacted Shoe Zone to ask why the store was closing and how jobs would be affected. We have received no reply as we went to press.
NewRiver REIT, owners of the Arndale, Morecambe Bay, declined to comment.
The shopping centre is currently up for sale for £5m and under offer.
