The historic former Barclays Bank building in Morecambe is set to go up for auction.
The 19th century Grade II listed premises on Euston Road, which has been empty since the bank closed in 2020, will go under the hammer on September 17.
The Bavarian-style building in the town centre was originally built by the Kendal Bank in 1890.
"It was classed when it was built as a fabulous miniature palace," said John Holloway from Farrell Heyworth, in a video on the estate agent's social media pages.
"It offers a wealth of opportunity to create residential accommodation and you've got the commercial element with the ground floor former bank hall."
He said it "would make a great coffee shop, potentially even a bar" downstairs and upstairs were "suitable for flat conversion and would make ideal holiday apartments".
A minimum opening bid of £250,000 is being asked for.
Viewings are taking place before the online auction date, and anyone interested is asked to call Auction House North West on 01772 772450.
Auction House North West's website says "the vacant Grade II Listed building is arranged on basement, ground and three upper floors totalling about 492 sq m (5295 sq ft) taken from EPC.
"There is a banking hall on the ground floor with ancillary offices and store room above.
"The basement has more store rooms with strong room.
"This stunning building offers a fantastic opportunity for an investor/developer with necessary planning consents.
"The property will be sold with vacant possession.
"Located in Morecambe town centre the property easy access to the coast with stunning views and easy access to beaches and the promenade, just across from shops, pubs and cafes. Morecambe is a convenient base for exploring nearby natural attractions like the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland and is soon to see the start of much anticipated Eden Project."
