Dozens of scarecrows will form a trail through Bolton-le-Sands and Hest Bank this week in a fundraiser for a local hospice.
The trail, which has a Halloween theme, is on between now and Sunday (October 27), with 66 in total to find, making it a great activity for the half term week, while raising money for St John’s.
The event last year raised more than £1,500, and donations have already reached more than half of the £2,000 target for this year.
You can donate here and find more information about the trail here, where in due course details including a full trail map will be published.
Printed guides are available at The Royal, The Post Office, The Library, Holy Trinity Church, The Co-Op, Fuelling the Bold coffee shop and Sands Meadows Care Home. Donation buckets are available at most of the aforementioned locations & QR codes are available on all the scarecrows.
