A mum from Heysham who says that "getting up the stairs was a challenge" when she weighed 27 stone is now enjoying her new life as a personal fitness trainer.
Sarah Culver has set up her own business 'Imagine-Believe-Achieve' to help others improve their health and well-being.
Sarah said that "enough was enough" when she weighed herself and was "horrified" that she had reached 27 stone.
"Over the years I gained a huge amount of weight until I reached a point where getting up the stairs was a challenge," she said.
"I decided that enough was enough and I needed to change my life, improving my health and well-being.
"I have two boys and I thought, I've got to do something. I'm not going to see my youngest grow up, because I won't be here."

"I think it was only a matter of time before something happened to me," said Sarah.
"I thought I should do something for myself, I've got to put myself first.
"I began attending a local fitness class, always standing at the back but I began to lose weight.
"I started going to the gym and I soon lost three-and-a-half stone."
Sarah also had gastric bypass surgery, a stomach operation to help with her weight loss, in 2022.
"Fast forward to today, I have lost 16 stone and have never felt better," she said.

Sarah opened Imagine-Believe-Achieve in October, and says it is also her personal motto.
"I've been in some very dark places, I was so big for so long," she said.
"You've got to make the change, nobody is going to make it for you. I would never have dreamed of being the person I am now. It's completely changed my life."
She will soon start classes at various locations including Heysham Mossgate community centre.
