We have been chatting to the principal of a new theatre school in Morecambe set up by Birds of a Feather TV star Pauline Quirke.
Mairead Croly from the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) is gearing up for the school's first ever open day.
We bumped into Mairead (right, with Aimee and Hannah from the PQA team) as they held some taster workshops at the Alannafest festival at Heysham Cricket Club on Sunday.

The PQA open day will be held at the Bay Leadership Academy (formerly Heysham High School) on Saturday September 10, from 9.45am to 1pm.
Classes will take place at the Bay Leadership Academy every week.
The open day will include free taster lessons in musical theatre, comedy and drama, and film and television.

The first Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts opened in 2007 and now there are over 200 academies across the country, teaching more than 13,000 young people aged between four and 18 about comedy and drama, musical theatre, and film and television.
Pauline is best known for her role as Sharon in the hit comedy Birds of a Feather.
