A three-day music festival in aid of local schools has raised a record-breaking total.
School Aid raised £6000 for four local schools - which beat last year's amount raised of £4400 and the event's best-ever total of £5260 raised in 2020.
The money will be divided equally between West End Primary School and Morecambe Bay Primary School in Morecambe, St Patrick's in Heysham and Skerton St Lukes in Lancaster.
Funds were raised over three days of music, starting on Friday with the West End Soul Club soul music night at The Exchange in Morecambe, then continuing on Saturday at The Bobbin in Lancaster, before finishing at The Exchange on Sunday.
Beyond Radio supported School Aid, with Phill Hayward hosting on Saturday and Greg Lambert the host on Sunday.
School Aid was founded in 2018 by musician Jay Blackburn and aims to help local schoolchildren during these difficult economic times.
Jay said it was a "fantastic effort from everybody" and it ensured that each school would receive £1500.
