An antiques dealer has appealed for help to find a cannon stolen over Christmas.
Lee Clarke from the Old Sea Dog antiques showroom in Lancaster said the cast iron ceremonial Spanish cannon was taken from his yard in Torrisholme.
Mr Clarke said he noticed the 6ft long cannon, which dates from the late Victorian era, was missing today and believes it was taken some time over the Christmas period.
He said it weighs around 250kg and believes it would have needed a tail lift or winch to move it onto a vehicle.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 101 or contact Mr Clarke (below) at the Old Sea Dog on Moor Lane in Lancaster.
