A samba drumming band from Lancaster has taken part in the Notting Hill Carnival.
A team from the Batala Samba Drummers joined forces with other drummers from around the world at the famous annual street festival in London.
They played and paraded as part of a huge Batala Mundo band of more than 200 drummers from around the globe.
The Notting Hill Carnival is an annual Caribbean festival event that has taken place on the streets of the Notting Hill area of Kensington since 1966. This was the first carnival since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Batala Lancaster team took part in an intense series of practice workshops over the weekend to warm up for Monday's big parade.
