Rescue services were called out to help an injured kite surfer in Morecambe.
Morecambe RNLI's lifeboat and hovercraft were both involved in the rescue on Sunday afternoon, June 2.
The inshore lifeboat was launched at 4.25pm and the hovercraft at 4.31pm after the crew was alerted by the Coastguard.
The kite surfer was transferred into the care of waiting ambulance crews near the slipway at The Battery.
“This was a successful launch and recovery of a casualty by the crew of both crafts working together," said Martyn Browitt, launch authority for Morecambe RNLI.
"The result enabled quicker treatment of the casualty enabling them to make a good recovery."
