A music festival will be held in Lancaster to raise funds in memory of a much-loved local legend known for his dancing feet.
Roger's Rhythm Music Festival will be held at The Tap House on June 7 in tribute to Roger Obertelli, who died aged 93 on April 15.
Roger was a huge supporter of local entertainment, and could often be seen tap dancing - or rather 'hoofing' - along to the music at public gatherings around the area.
A regular at Morecambe Music Festival, Lancaster Music Festival, Morecambe Carnival and many venues across the district, he would often tell people: "I don't do tap, I'm a hoofer."
Hoofing is a style of dance in which the emphasis is on the steps, rather than any gestures or postures, and Roger was a master at it, tapping his feet along happily to the beat, while wearing his trademark shoes, trilby hat and dapper clothes.
Roger became known by several nicknames as his fame grew locally, including 'The Man with the Hat', 'The Hoof' and 'The Tippy Tappy Man'.
A post on The Tap House Facebook page said: "Join us on Sunday 7th June, midday until late, at The Tap House for Roger's Rhythm Music Festival.

"We'll be remembering Roger with every beat and raising vital cash for St John's Hospice.
"Suggested donation is £10 (or Pay What You Can).
"A 'Just Giving' or similar donation page will be live soon for St John's Hospice who we're meeting tomorrow.
"We'll also be revealing the whole line up for the day soon. Thank you to all of Roger's favourite bands for either getting in touch directly or agreeing to support this mini tribute festival.
"Hoping to see as many of you as possible as we all celebrate his life and remember Roger."
A further post on The Tap House page said: "The family have asked us to let you all know the funeral arrangements for local legend Roger:
"Tuesday 12th May, 12.30pm, at Lancaster Crematorium. We hope as many of you as possible can attend and help us all celebrate the life of our amazing Roger Obertelli.
"Roger's wake to be held at The Vale of Lune Rugby club, Powderhouse Lane, Lancaster. The dress code is whatever you're comfortable with, smart/casual is fine, as that's what Roger would have wanted."
