Talented performers in Lancaster musicals have scooped awards at a ceremony crowning the best in the North West.
Ashleigh Hartin won Best Leading Female in a Musical at the NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) North West Awards over the weekend.
Ashleigh won for her performance as 'Narrator' in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat last year at the Lancaster Grand Theatre, for the Morecambe Warblers.
Abi Jones also won Best Vocal Performance in a Youth Production for her role as Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde Jnr' for MY Youth Theatre in Morecambe. The show was performed last year at The Dukes in Lancaster.
Abi, 13, was the first ever winner in the brand new category.
Another local performer, Alice Helm, won Best Vocal Performance by an Adult for her portrayal of Yum Yum in The Mikado, by Staveley Amateur Operatic Society.

Silverdale Village Players also won Best Revue for ‘Miscommunication’.
Many other local stars of musicals were nominated for NODA North West Awards having won at the District 11 NODA Awards in March.
At the District 11 Awards, Benji Pollitt (Joseph) won Best Youth Performance of a Male Character in an Adult Production for Joseph; The Brothers won Best Ensemble Performance and Angela Potter won Best Musical Director.
Annie by MAODS (Morecambe Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society) at the Lancaster Grand, won Best Staging of a Musical; Mark Elliott won Best Leading Male in a Musical for his performance as Mr Warbucks and Abi Jones (Annie) won Best Youth Female Performer in an Adult Production.
Suzanne Ward won Best Director of a Musical for LADOS' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Grand, Holly Brown won Best Choreographer of a Musical and Neil Townsend (Grandpa Joe) won Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.
MY Theatre won Best Youth Musical for Legally Blonde Jnr; Best Leading Female in a Youth Musical (Abi Jones as Elle Woods); Best Supporting Female in a Youth Musical (Iya Doctor as Vivienne); Best Comedy Performance in a Youth Musical (Amber Harvey as Paulette); Best Director of a Youth Musical (Sophie Butler) and Best Musical Director of a Youth Musical (Claire Allcock).
Kira Cherrington won 'Best Supporting Female' for her role as Judy in '9 to 5' at the Lancaster Grand for Lancaster Red Rose AODS.
